Last night the cash flowed from my computer, but it was bone cold in the Big Easy. Believe me, my new fez kept my noggin toasty as I graded papers and participated in Discussion Threads.
Today, happily, the sun is out strong and I am hoping against hope that winter is over. I CAN’T STAND THE COLD! I swear, one of these fine days I’m making good on my threat to move permanently to Puerto Escondido, Mexico.
In addition to the online teaching, I’ve been nose-deep in an experiment I call “writing for robots.” In an effort to enhance my online adjunct income, I have been putting up web sites about online teaching opportunities.
Online Adjunct Income
My latest effort is Online Adjunct Income. This particular site is really devoted to the idea of online teaching as a personal economic enterprise system for the teacher. That’s the reason the AdSense ads are about making money.
It shouldn’t escape any online teacher’s attention that the economy is undergoing some sort of serious derailment. As a result of what could possibly be $4.00 a gallon gasoline by this summer, and who-know-how-expensive fuel and food prices by the end of this year, I really do think it important for any online teacher to consider learning how to “write for robots.”
So, if any online teacher wants to make more money from the Internet, it is very important to do so in a deliberate fashion.
Internet Cash
The Internet is controlled by robots, as far as I can tell, and human participation is secondary when it comes to making good money online.
Since I’m first a writer and second a teacher of writing, which is exactly the order of importance necessary to master written language, it is both interesting and important to understand the language of robots to the extent that one can “call” the bots when one wants something such as Internet cash.
I’ll be honest about: I need a pocket of cash every week. A payday every Friday is my idea of heaven, and if I can put my hands on a Friday payday while wearing a pith helmet and drinking iced tea under an umbrella on my patio, I figure I’m doing it right.
Earning Weekly Online Income
This is primarily for English teachers, but it can apply to any teacher who has learned to navigate written language to the extent that deliberate form and word choice create a physical reality. By this I mean that written language properly applied can actually cause something to happen, such as making cash from your computer appear each and every Friday of the year.
There is no doubt in my mind that “writing for robots” can be mastered with a little determination and wit. The end result should be making Internet cash on a weekly basis from your computer.
